I’ve been a little quiet around here lately because its been a pretty crazy month: switching jobs (and now having a bit more of a commute), starting a couple of UC Extension courses, having my niece and nephew over from New Zealand for a couple weeks, taking the GMAT, and preparing for week-long trip to Whistler has had us a bit pre-occupied. Things are going great though, all of this crazy busy-ness is really energizing!

Hacking NetFlix : Netflix Launches Profiles: New Queue Sharing Feature

Netflix today launched a new Web site feature that enables customers to create up to five separate “profiles” for family members. Internally called the “marriage saver.”

I have to say that I agree that I’m glad Netflix has a little competition now. They’ve been lagging on adding new features for a while, and both this and the Friends pages are a cool idea that we’ve all been wanting for a while.
