Comments Re-enabled
I decided that I didn’t want to “let the spammers win”, so I re-enabled comments. We’ll see how manageable it is when I’m only checking mail ever week or so in SE Asia.
Minor Style Changes
It’s been bugging me for a while that my old site looked fairly dark, so I switched MT style-sheets (yes, still just using a canned one) and added a little icon and made a few re-arrangements on the front page. I wanted to do a little bit of freshening before I took off on my trip next month, but I didn’t have time for the complete makeover.
BTW, anyone know of a good Windows Icon generator for the Mac? I want to create a site icon to display in the address bar.
It’s been a busy week at Sendmail
We joke about saying that at every Friday social, but in this case it really has been (and it’s only Tuesday). We’ve made several announcements regarding the future evolution of email:
- Sendmail Drives Adoption of Sender Authentication
- Sendmail and Yahoo! Mail Collaborate to Develop and Deploy DomainKeys
- Sendmail Endorses Microsoft’s Caller ID for Email
And we’ve already picked up a tremendous amount of press coverage:
- C|Net News.com: Yahoo, Sendmail to test antispam system
- ComputerWorld: Microsoft to unveil antispam plans at RSA show
- Newsforge: Sendmail working on sender authentication in war on spam
There was also a lengthy discussion in a Slashdot article but the post was about an Internet-World article that was full of conjecture and /. didn’t even bother to check the content.
This is gonna get fun…
Disabling Comments
I hate doing this, but I’m getting enough comment spam that I don’t want to deal with while I’m traveling next month that I’m disabling comments around here across the board. I will re-enable them when I’m back in the country and with regular email access again.
Dear Ralph
How much is the RNC paying you?
